Oracle GoldenGate Microservice Architecture – next step to Cloud – Bobby Curtis, Oracle
Abstract:
Today’s business environment, the eco-system is changing at a rapid pace. The ability to quickly spin up
an environment for testing, development or production is key to continued business growth. Part of this
rapid provisioning of an environment is data movement. Oracle GoldenGate is the key software to
ensure data is positioned where and when needed. In recent years, Oracle GoldenGate has been
enhanced to enable users to quickly build, load and administer these environments. In this session, you
will be given an overview of the Oracle GoldenGate 19c architecture, how to dynamically build
replication flows, and how administration is simpler than ever before. By the end of the presentation,
you will have a firm understanding of the next generation approaches Oracle is taking with Oracle
GoldenGate.

Bobby Curtis is the Director of Product Management for Oracle GoldenGate at Oracle, an Oracle ACE Alumni, and published author. His role at Oracle is to develop and communicate the effectiveness that Oracle GoldenGate brings to industry and cloud solutions. Prior to joining Oracle, Bobby worked for various consulting firms specializing in creating, maintaining, tuning, and integrating enterprise databases solutions to help solve business problems. Bobby hosts a blog, http://dbasolved.com, which is respected as a source of information for solving complex issues related to Oracle technologies, especially Oracle GoldenGate. Along with his blog, Bobby is active on twitter under the handle, @DBASolved. During his down time, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family while traveling to watch his children compete in their respective sports. Outside of work, he is a geek either writing the next chapters of an upcoming book or looking for technical solutions to solve.
